Cat Kennel Housekeeping

We need dedicated and committed volunteers to assist Animal Care Associates in keeping our cats kennels clean and sanitary for the betterment of the animals in our care.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- MUST CHANGE GLOVES AFTER CLEANING INDIVIDUAL KENNELS OR ROOMS

- Clean kennels to maintain sanitation and health of the animals.

- Sanitizing food and water bowls.

- Sanitizing toys.

- Assist Animal Care Associates with other required duties such as cleaning beds, windows and floors.

- Ability and desire to work with animals.

- Self-motivated and have the ability to make appropriate judgment calls and ask questions when needed.

- Able to complete multiple tasks, have good communication skills and be able to follow shelter safety protocol as outlined in the volunteer information guide.

- Good communication and listening skills.

- Willingness to maintain sanitation of all animal areas.

- Ability to tolerate odors.

- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

- Ability to complete manual labor.
