Day Camp Assistants

Day camps are held on teacher workdays and allow children in grades 3-8 to learn about animals, practice kindness and empathy, make new friends, and of course, HAVE FUN! Additionally, day camps offer teens in 9th and 10th grade the chance to be Counselors in Training, allowing them to help out before they can become a volunteer at the age of 16.

Volunteers will:

  • Assist with check in/check out of campers
  • Help run activities
  • Ensure all campers are safe, following rules, and accounted for
  • Help clean-up as needed
  • Engage campers in games and conversation
